Last night and early morning of April 21, the matches of round 34 of the Premier League took place. The highlight was the match between Wolves and Arsenal at Molineux Stadium.

After being eliminated from the European Cup 1, Arsenal was forced to do their best to compete for the 2023/2024 Premier League championship. Therefore, the Gunners proactively attacked and pressured Wolves right after the opening whistle.

Despite creating a lot of pressure, it was not until the end of the first half that Arsenal had the opening goal. The scorer for the Gunners was Leandro Trossard after an assist from Jesus.

Leandro Trossard's goal made it easier for Arsenal in the second half. However, just like the first half, despite continuously creating scoring opportunities, the Gunners' strikers did not take advantage of them well. It was not until injury time that Martin Ødegaard scored the goal that sealed a 2-0 victory for the Gunners.

With this victory, Arsenal temporarily climbed to the top of the rankings with 74 points, 1 point more than Man City and 3 points more than Liverpool, but played 1 more match than 2 opponents.

Meanwhile, in the remaining two matches of round 34 of the Premier League, Brentford won 5-1 against Luton while Burnley won 4-1 against Sheffield United.
