In August 2022, information about Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu buying an Aston Martin Valhalla worth nearly 100 billion VND in Vietnam attracted attention from the domestic media. This is a rare occasion that a supercar transaction of this businessman was shared publicly.

During a chance meeting, Mr. Vu emphasized to us that Aston Martin Valhalla will only be produced in 88 units, not 999 units as the company announced to the media, and said he was ready to pay as soon as the car arrived in Vietnam.

However, on May 14, 2025, according to some sources, Aston Martin Vietnam dealer returned the deposit to Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu. The reason given was that the Aston Martin Valhalla supercar could not be delivered, and Aston Martin's factory was not expected to produce the Valhalla model.

Thus, despite accepting the selling price of nearly 100 billion VND, depositing a large amount of money to the Aston Martin Vietnam dealer and waiting for the past 3 years, in the end, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu could not own the expensive Valhalla supercar because Aston Martin could not deliver the car.

The Aston Martin Valhalla supercar that Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu ordered 3 years ago but could not be delivered has had its production schedule postponed many times.

The car uses a new PHEV powertrain with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine located in the middle of the rear and integrated with 2 additional electric motors, bringing the total capacity of the Aston Martin Valhalla up to 937 horsepower and maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.

The Valhalla uses an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission developed and engineered exclusively for Aston Martin hybrid engines, combined with an electronic limited-slip differential on the rear axle and an electric reverse mode when the driver only uses the 2 electric motors.

The Aston Martin Valhalla supercar can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 330 km/h.
