Dak Lak: More than 50 billion VND to support accommodation and travel for officials

Dak Lak province will support travel and accommodation for civil servants, public employees and workers after rearranging administrative units with a total cost of more than 50 billion VND.

On July 16, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council held its first thematic session and passed a Resolution regulating support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at the provincial and commune administrative centers after reorganization in Dak Lak province with a total budget of more than 50 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Van Tan, Director of the Department of Finance of Dak Lak province, said that currently, there are 698 people from Phu Yen province (old) who have been transferred to the new Dak Lak political-administrative center. These officials will be supported with travel expenses, housing rent and initial support for 12 months.

Specifically, support for travel expenses with the amount of 2 million VND/person/month; support for housing rent with 3 million VND/person/month; one-time support of 2 million VND/person.

For 260 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who come to work at the administrative center of the province and commune level after re-arrangement, they will be supported with travel expenses of 500,000 VND/person/month for distances from their permanent residence to their working agency of 30-50 km; 1 million VND/person/month for distances of 50-100 km; 1.5 million VND/person/month for distances of 100-150 km and 2 million VND/person/month for distances over 150 km.

Regarding housing rent, 1.5 million VND/person/month will be supported for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers whose residence is more than 30km from their workplace. One-time support is 1 million VND/person.

Also according to the Resolution of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, the support for travel expenses and housing rental fees is applied for 1 year. After 12 months of implementing the policy, it will be re-evaluated to implement it in accordance with the actual situation.

For one-time support level, applied after the officer returns to work at the administrative center of the province and commune level of Dak Lak province.

100% of Dak Lak Provincial People's Council delegates unanimously approved the above resolution.
