On the morning of November 27, the Hanoi People's Council approved the payroll and labor contract quotas for the Hanoi city government sector in 2026.

Accordingly, the total number of civil servants and professional contracts according to Resolution No. 26/2024/NQ-HDND in administrative agencies and organizations of Hanoi city in 2026 includes: Administrative civil servant staff: 13,555 positions. Of which: 13,251 allocated positions; 304 reserve targets. Professional contracts according to Resolution No. 26/2024/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council include 227 targets.

The total number of civil servants receiving state budget salaries in agencies and units of Hanoi city in 2026 includes 117,555 positions, of which the allocated position quota is 117,061 and the reserve position quota is 494.

The number of non-professional workers at the commune level in 2026 is 4,539 targets.

The City People's Council also allocated labor contract targets in administrative agencies, organizations and public service units of Hanoi city in 2026. Specifically, the contract to perform support and service work according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP is 11,500 targets, of which: 1,650 targets for administrative agencies and organizations; 9,864 targets for public service units.

Contracts for performing professional and technical work at public service units in group 4 of the health and education sectors according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP include 2,748 positions; contracts for working as nursing staff at public educational institutions (nurses) include 8,015 positions.
