Ba Chẽ strengthens efforts to ensure food safety and hygiene.

To ensure food safety and hygiene in the area, Ba Chẽ commune is stepping up its information and communication efforts to raise awareness among food production and business establishments and consumers about food safety.

Authorities are focusing on strictly controlling the flow of goods within the commune, concentrating on the Ba Chẽ market area, the commune center, the Nam Sơn Industrial Cluster, provincial roads 330 and 329; and establishments and households engaged in the production, business, and food services within the commune.   A prime example is the commune police force.   The authorities have intensified propaganda and dissemination of laws and organized the signing of commitments with food businesses, restaurants, eateries, street food stalls, and transport vehicle owners in the area regarding strict compliance with legal regulations in the production, processing, and trading of food. The commune police force has directly visited each business, restaurant, eatery, street food stall, and food transport vehicle owner to disseminate and guide them on legal regulations related to safe food production, processing, and trading. In particular...   The responsibility of organizations and individuals engaged in business is to prioritize public health, strictly prohibiting profit-driven actions that disregard food safety regulations and negatively impact consumer rights and safety. Simultaneously, the commune police organized 30 business establishments to sign commitments to strictly comply with food hygiene and safety regulations.

Early May 2026,   The Ba Chẽ commune food safety inspection team conducted on-site inspections at food service establishments in the commune.   The inspection team focused on reviewing food safety conditions at the establishment, such as: Food safety certificates; health certificates and food safety knowledge certifications for the owner and those directly involved in food processing; origin of food ingredients; hygiene conditions of food processing and storage areas; use of food additives; food processing procedures, food sample retention, and hygiene of utensils and equipment used in food service...

Thanks to numerous decisive and coordinated solutions, food safety assurance in Ba Chẽ district has achieved significant results. There have been no major food poisoning incidents in the commune, and food producers and businesses have strictly complied with food safety regulations. The awareness and responsibility of management agencies, food producers, processors, and consumers have improved significantly, and food safety quality is increasingly being prioritized and enhanced.
