(HNMO) - On the evening of June 9th, the Hanoi City Police Command Center reported on three accidents resulting in three deaths: one collision between an electric bicycle and a pedestrian in Tan Hoi commune, Dan Phuong district, killing one person; one fatality in a collision between an unidentified vehicle (suspected to be a truck) and a cyclist in Tram Troi town, Hoai Duc district; and one fatality in a self-inflicted motorcycle accident in Dai Hung commune, My Duc district.
During the day, there was also one small fire (in Cau Giay district); five fire incidents in the districts of Tay Ho, Cau Giay, Thanh Tri, Hoang Mai, and Gia Lam; and three rescue operations in Ba Dinh, Dong Da, and Long Bien districts.
Also on that day, traffic police patrolled and inspected, detecting and handling 776 cases of violations of the Road Traffic Law; temporarily seizing 126 vehicles and 238 sets of documents, revoking 81 driver's licenses; and imposing administrative penalties on 19 cases of violations of the Waterway Traffic Law.
Fire safety inspections were conducted at 30 establishments, resulting in the detection of 3 violations. Documents were prepared and submitted to the competent authorities for administrative penalties; guidance was provided to 6 establishments on developing fire safety plans, and 10 establishments conducted their own fire safety drills.
Task Force 141 detected and handled 41 cases of traffic safety violations, including 32 cases of violations related to alcohol concentration. They also detected, detained, and handed over 3 cases involving 3 individuals suspected of committing criminal offenses to the relevant authorities for further investigation and resolution.
Mobile police forces mobilized officers and soldiers to patrol and protect key targets and areas, detecting, detaining, and handing over 3 cases involving 3 individuals suspected of committing criminal offenses to the relevant authorities for further verification and resolution according to their jurisdiction.
The City Police Command Information Center received and processed 30 reports related to security, public order, and fire prevention and control, deploying 21 vehicles and 84 officers and soldiers to the scene to resolve the issues.
