The resolution on the appointment of the position of Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee was signed by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on June 25.
Ms. Hai will succeed Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, who was elected by the National Assembly to hold the position of Vice President of the National Assembly nearly 3 weeks ago.
The Delegation Work Committee is an agency under the National Assembly Standing Committee, established by the National Assembly Standing Committee, with the function of advising and assisting the National Assembly Standing Committee on delegation work, organizational work, personnel work and performing other functions assigned by the National Assembly Party Delegation and the National Assembly Standing Committee.
The leadership of the Delegation Affairs Committee includes the Head and Deputy Heads of the Committee, appointed, dismissed, and removed from office by the National Assembly Standing Committee. The Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee is responsible to the National Assembly Standing Committee for the organization and operation of the Committee.
In addition to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai as Head of the 15th Delegation Working Committee, there are three Deputy Heads of the Committee, including Ms. Ta Thi Yen and two men with the same name, Nguyen Tuan Anh.
