
On the morning of March 24, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police informed about the incident. Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on March 23, people discovered a fire at a car wash and oil change shop 86 on National Highway 51, passing through Group 13, Phuoc Loc Quarter, Tan Phuoc Ward, Phu My City, so they reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the Police, Military , Ward People's Committee, Tan Phuoc Ward Security... were present promptly to handle the fire, and at the same time notified the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of Area 3.

After about 10 minutes, 6 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers arrived and promptly controlled the fire from spreading to neighboring houses. At the same time, the professional fire fighting force mobilized additional water trucks from Phu My 2,3 Industrial Park and the Urban Construction Company to promptly supply water and put out the fire.
By 7:02 p.m. the same day, the forces had controlled the fire and prevented it from spreading or becoming larger. Because the items stored in the area behind the house were flammable, such as old tires, engine oil, and used oil, the forces had to use foam to put out the fire.

By 7:35 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished. The fire did not cause any human casualties, but damaged a level 4 house and a prefabricated warehouse of about 50 square meters and car washing and oil changing equipment.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
