According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on May 30th, the weather across the country continued to be complex, with many areas experiencing thunderstorms and localized heavy rain; while the North, North Central, and some areas in Central Vietnam experienced sunny weather, with some places experiencing hot temperatures.

Specifically, the provinces in the Northwest region will be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning, and locally heavy rain in some areas; followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with decreasing cloud cover and sunny weather in the afternoon. The lowest temperature will be 21-24 degrees Celsius, with some places below 21 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be 30-33 degrees Celsius, with some places above 33 degrees Celsius.

The northeastern region of Vietnam will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning, clearing up in the afternoon with sunshine. The lowest temperature will be 24-27 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas experiencing temperatures below 23 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be 31-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 34 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue will have cloudy skies, sunny days, with some areas experiencing hot weather; scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon and evening. The lowest temperature will be 25-28 degrees Celsius; the highest will be 32-35 degrees Celsius, with some areas in the South exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.

The South Central Coastal region will be cloudy, with sunny days in the north, some areas experiencing hot weather, and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night; the south will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening, with localized heavy rain. The lowest temperature will be 25-28°C; the highest temperature will be 32-35°C in the north, with some areas exceeding 35°C, and 29-32°C in the south.

The Central Highlands region will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas; particularly in the afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain. Lam Dong province will experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with locally very heavy rain. The lowest temperature will be 20-23°C; the highest temperature will be 29-32°C, with some areas in the south below 27°C.

Southern Vietnam will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the afternoon and evening, there will be moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, with very heavy rain in some areas. The lowest temperature will be 24-27°C; the highest temperature will be 28-31°C, with some areas exceeding 31°C.
