This morning, July 28, Bac Ninh province organized a ceremony to honor and reward teachers who trained excellent students and excellent students who won prizes in regional and international competitions in the 2022-2023 school year.

According to the report, this is the second consecutive year that Bac Ninh province has led the country in the percentage of students winning prizes in the 2023 national excellent student exam. Specifically, 69/76 candidates won prizes, accounting for 90.8%, including 5 first prizes, 22 second prizes, 24 third prizes and 18 consolation prizes.
For the first time, there was a student who won first prize in math and 3 students won first prize in physics (including the student who achieved the highest score nationwide).
At the 2023 regional and international Olympic competitions, Bac Ninh province had 9 students participating in national teams (leading all provinces and cities in the country) and all won prizes.
Of which, there are 2 gold medals (physics and chemistry) and 2 bronze medals (math and physics) at the International Olympics. At the regional Olympics, there is 1 gold medal (chemistry), 1 silver medal (chemistry) and 3 bronze medals (physics).
Teachers who nurture award-winning students receive awards
The results achieved bring the total number of Bac Ninh students winning prizes at regional and international Olympic competitions in the period 2013 - 2023 to 16, ranking 6th among the leading provinces and cities nationwide.
According to Resolution 02/2021/NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province, students who win gold medals at international Olympic competitions will be awarded 500 million VND; teachers who directly train students who win prizes will be awarded an equivalent amount; students who win gold medals at continental Olympic competitions will be awarded 150 million VND; teachers who directly train students who win prizes will be awarded an equivalent amount...
The total amount of money that Bac Ninh province spent to reward teachers and excellent students who won prizes in regional and international competitions in the 2022-2023 school year is more than 3.4 billion VND.
