Bac Ninh: Innovating political theory training at the grassroots level.

On May 29th, at the Nguyen Van Cu Political School, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Provincial Party Committee member and Principal of the school, chaired a working meeting with leaders of commune and ward political centers in Bac Ninh province.

The conference was organized to implement the new regulations of the Central Committee on the functions, tasks, organizational structure, and operation of the commune/ward Political Centers; and to strengthen coordination between the Nguyen Van Cu Political School and the grassroots Political Centers in the training and fostering of political theory and Party work skills.

The delegates heard a summary report on the implementation of training tasks by the commune and ward political centers after nearly a year of implementing the two-tiered local government model.

This shows that, despite being newly operational, the Centers have gradually stabilized their organization, proactively adapted to the new operating model, and effectively maintained the work of political theory education and training of cadres and Party members at the grassroots level.

The Centers have actively updated and implemented directives from the Central and provincial authorities; organized training courses on Party awareness, training for new Party members, and specialized training; and effectively coordinated with the Nguyen Van Cu Political School in training intermediate-level political theory.

The teaching staff has demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and actively innovated teaching methods, contributing to improving the quality of political theory education in the area.

Besides the achievements, delegates also discussed the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the operation of the Centers. Some training programs are slow to be updated, facilities, equipment, and digital infrastructure are not yet synchronized, and there is a shortage of dedicated instructors.

The IT application skills and the ability to create e-learning materials are still limited among some lecturers. Organizing classes according to the new model also faces difficulties due to the large geographical area, the large number of students, and their dispersed locations.

Delegates proposed numerous solutions to improve the quality of operations at Political Centers in the future. These focused on strengthening professional guidance, supporting the development of shared digital learning materials and electronic lectures; organizing in-depth training courses for lecturers; promoting professional activities, exchanging experiences, and applying digital transformation in management and class organization.

In her concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of the commune and ward Political Centers in carrying out the task of political theory education.

The comrade emphasized that the conference is an important opportunity to strengthen coordination between the School and grassroots Political Centers, and to exchange ideas, resolve difficulties, and unify directions for innovating the content and methods of training and education in a practical and modern direction, linking theory with practice and the requirements of current digital transformation.
