Colonel Nguyen Van Ngành and representatives of the local Party committee and government handed over a solidarity house to Mr. Danh Onl, 95 years old, residing in Giong Da hamlet, Ban Thach commune. The house was built with a 50 million VND grant from the Steering Committee for Tet activities of the military and civilians of Kien Giang province, with the family contributing an additional 20 million VND.
The house built for a fellow soldier was handed over to Mr. Luu Van Thuyen, residing in Ban Thach commune. Mr. Thuyen was formerly a soldier of the 893rd Regiment, Kien Giang Provincial Military Command. The construction cost of the house was approximately 100 million VND, of which the Kien Giang Provincial Military Command contributed 50 million VND, and the remainder was contributed by the family in terms of funds and labor.
