Recently, the Oil and Gas Transportation Corporation supported the construction of 200 Great Solidarity houses for households with housing difficulties in the old Can Tho City; the Southern Power Corporation supported the construction of 45 Great Solidarity houses for households with housing difficulties in the old Can Tho City, Hau Giang Province, and Soc Trang Province, contributing to joining hands with the Party Committee, government and Vietnam Fatherland Front of Can Tho City to effectively implement social security policies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, congratulated the households with new houses; wished that people would keep their new houses spacious and clean for long-term use and actively work in production, develop the economy , and stabilize their lives. The Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city thanked the Oil and Gas Transportation Joint Stock Corporation and the Southern Power Corporation for sharing and supporting poor and near-poor households in the area; hoped that businesses would continue to accompany and support Can Tho City in implementing social security programs, joining hands to help poor and near-poor households and those in difficult circumstances in the city overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
At the ceremony, leaders at all levels presented decisions to donate Great Solidarity houses and gifts to representatives of 20 households still facing housing difficulties.
