Handing over charity houses to women in difficult circumstances

DTO - On the afternoon of July 31, the Women's Union of Hoa Long commune held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to Ms. Lam Thi Xieu - a female member with especially difficult circumstances living in Long Dinh hamlet, Hoa Long commune.

The house has an area of 32 square meters, with walls, corrugated iron roof, and tiled floor. The total construction cost was 90 million VND, of which the Commune Women's Union mobilized support of 80 million VND, the rest was contributed by family and relatives.

Giving charity houses is one of the practical activities to support women members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and work with peace of mind. Thereby contributing to the effective implementation of social security programs and new rural construction in the locality.
