The total number of visitors after the merger of the two provinces of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu reached more than 5.1 million, an increase of 18% compared to the same period in 2024; reaching 61.7% of the plan for 2025. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 4,890 billion VND, an increase of 16.3% over the same period in 2024; reaching 57.3% of the plan for 2025.s

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province Nguyen Quoc Thanh suggested that in the last months of 2025, the staff and employees of the unit focus on overcoming difficulties, continue to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to well organize activities to celebrate major holidays of the country and the province, focusing on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, and the anniversary of the province's revolutionary tradition; synchronously implement solutions to improve the quality of cultural and artistic movements; mass sports activities associated with the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"; press and publishing. In addition, advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a tourism development plan for the last 6 months of 2025, striving for a total number of tourists to reach 8.4 million; total revenue to reach 8,585 billion VND.
