Issuing a Plan to develop a Circular on economic and technical norms in preserving and promoting folk and traditional arts.

On July 8, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 2394/QD-BVHTTDL on the promulgation of the Plan to develop a Circular stipulating economic and technical standards for services of preserving, promoting and organizing competitions, festivals and professional art performances for folk, traditional, typical and specific art forms of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Department of Performing Arts to preside over and coordinate with relevant units based on the content of this Plan to be responsible for organizing and effectively implementing assigned tasks.

The content of the plan to develop a Circular regulating economic and technical standards for services to preserve, promote and organize competitions, festivals, and professional art performances for folk, traditional, typical, and specific art forms of Vietnamese ethnic groups includes: Drafting the first Circular; Receiving and finalizing the opinions of the drafting team; approving the members of the drafting team; Drafting the second Circular; Collecting written opinions from: Ministries, branches; People's Committees of provinces/cities; relevant agencies; experts; Completing the third draft Circular; Completing the dossier explaining the economic and technical standards; Completing the dossier for appraisal of the Circular to send to the Legal Department;...

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires ensuring the development of the Circular in accordance with regulations and progress according to the approved Plan; There is coordination between units in the Ministry; mobilizing the participation of relevant agencies, units and teams of experts and scientists in the process of researching and developing documents.

The Chief of the Ministry Office, Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs, Heads of relevant agencies, units and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
