Retail sales of goods and consumer services revenue increased sharply.

Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the province in September 2025 are estimated at 8,678 billion VND, an increase of 16.5% compared to the same period last year; cumulatively for the first nine months of 2025, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue are estimated at 76,436 billion VND, an increase of 15% compared to the same period last year.

Supermarkets and shopping malls are offering various promotional programs to help stimulate consumer demand.

Besides stimulating consumer demand, the departments, agencies, and the Provincial Cooperative Union have intensified their efforts to support units, businesses, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in the province to participate in the Shopee e-commerce platform.

Simultaneously, in coordination with Ban Viet Production and Trade Service Cooperative (Ban Viet Cooperative), we opened the "Ban Viet - Thai Nguyen Store" on the Shopee e-commerce platform, connecting it with the "Thai Nguyen Products Store" page. To date, 85 products/product sets have been listed on the store; 1,050 orders have been successfully sold; and 125 livestream sessions have been organized to promote and sell Thai Nguyen province products on the Shopee e-commerce platform.

The Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with relevant units, provides training on digital business skills, brand development, and image building for businesses and cooperatives.

Thai Nguyen province is stepping up support for businesses and cooperatives to participate in numerous trade promotion activities, fairs, and exhibitions both domestically and internationally, such as: the "Thai Nguyen Industry and Trade - OCOP 2025" exhibition; the 34th Vietnam International Trade Fair (VIETNAM EXPO 2025); the exhibition area for cultural and trade exchange of Thai Nguyen province at the program commemorating the 20th anniversary of the signing of local-level cooperation agreements between Thai Nguyen province (Vietnam) and Gyeongsangbuk-do province (Korea); the "Exhibition of Economic and Social Development Achievements of Thai Nguyen Province" commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi…
