Mr. Linh has consistently proposed and implemented solutions, most recently the initiative "Creating Interest in Learning Informatics." This initiative combines five solutions: developing learning applications tailored to students' needs and the school's facilities, making learning easy, enjoyable, and enabling students to quickly master the skills; integrating online games and using Quizizz; encouraging students through competitive activities and rewards; and linking Informatics teaching with other relevant subjects (Mathematics, Vietnamese, English), designing lessons around local themes and education.
Tran Phu Vinh, a 4th-grade student at Ngan Dua Primary School, said: “Teacher Linh provided a lot of knowledge, helping me understand more about the Scratch programming language. The instruction was interactive and experiential, which I found interesting, and from that, I realized that Computer Science is not difficult at all.”
These initiatives all place students at the center, aiming to improve the quality of education.
Teacher Linh enthusiastically stated that he will incorporate content on relevant AI tools into his teaching, so that students can gain more knowledge and enhance their ability to explore and discover, thus supporting their learning process. What is particularly commendable is that he also emphasizes teaching safety skills in the digital age, helping students become responsible digital citizens.
A new direction using locally sourced materials.
For nearly a year now, the model of processing fish products, especially various types of fish sauce, has been maintained by Ms. Pham Thi Diem, Secretary of the Youth Union of Kinh 5B hamlet, Tri Phai commune, with increasingly positive results, making use of abundant local raw materials.
Since the Lunar New Year, she has purchased over 2 tons of tilapia, at an average price of 10,000 VND/kg; of which, about 400 kg is used for drying and fish cakes, and the rest for making fish sauce. Her facility provides regular employment for 2-3 workers, and during peak periods when fish is abundant, there are about 10 workers with a wage of 15,000 VND/hour.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tram, a resident of the same hamlet, said that previously, making fish sauce was mainly for family use. Since the processing facility was established, she has been working there, earning 4-5 million VND per month.
Starting with no experience, Ms. Diem was determined to learn the trade. In the beginning, her products were not well-known and sales were poor. Now, her family sells at least 20 kg of various types of fish sauce every month.
Starting with no experience, after nearly a year of learning, Ms. Pham Thi Diem is now proficient in processing various types of fish sauce.
Besides tilapia fish sauce, they also produce fish sauce from grass carp, mullet, and catfish. Since the beginning of the year, the facility has sold over 200 kg of fish sauce, priced from 70,000 to 120,000 VND/kg depending on the type, through social media promotion and connections with local organizations. In the first six months of the year, the dried fish and fish sauce production model generated a profit of over 40 million VND.
Ms. Diem said that the biggest challenge right now is funding. Alongside researching to develop new products (traditional fish sauce), Ms. Diem is also learning how to create logos and expand her sales channels.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Huynh, Secretary of the Tri Phai Commune Youth Union, assessed this as a prominent example of economic development among local youth union members, demonstrating their ability to seize advantages and find suitable development directions, resulting in products with stable markets and creating jobs for the people.
This model creates jobs for 2-10 workers, depending on the time of year.
Currently, Ms. Pham Thi Diem is also the Director and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of An Khang Agricultural Cooperative. Her boldness, initiative, and persistent efforts have helped the female Youth Union Secretary of Kinh 5B hamlet develop a stable and thriving economy.
In the first six months of the year, Ms. Pham Thi Diem sold over 200 kg of various types of fish sauce.
