According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on the morning of September 25th, Typhoon Bualoi had intensified to level 12.
Forecasts indicate that around the night of September 26th, Typhoon Bualoi will enter the South China Sea and become the 10th typhoon of 2025.
Earlier, regarding preliminary information about Typhoon Bualoi, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Director of the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, stated that this was the 20th typhoon in the Northwest Pacific region.
According to forecasts from models and international forecasting centers, this storm is still quite uncertain in terms of trajectory and intensity. When the storm becomes stronger, with better cloud organization, greater stability, and a more complete storm structure, the forecasts for this storm will be more reliable.
The National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting will continue to monitor and update the weather developments in the coming period to provide updated forecasts.
Furthermore, according to current forecasts, the peak intensity of Typhoon Bualoi is not as strong as that of Typhoon Ragasa.
Forecasts regarding the development of this storm are still far off, however, it cannot be ruled out that its impact on the Vietnamese mainland will be equivalent to, or even greater than, that of Typhoon Ragasa (Typhoon No. 9).
