Starting with countless difficulties, Nam Dinh quickly became one of the leading provinces nationwide in digital transformation (DCT) with many important high-ranking indicators such as: E-Government Construction Index, Digital Government in 2024 reached 95.99%; the proportion of e-commerce in the total retail sales of the province is estimated at about 9%, ranked 4th out of 63 provinces and cities; leading the country in providing and handling administrative procedures, online public services... The province was trusted by the Government and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) to carry out many important tasks in national DCT. In that success, provincial journalists have actively contributed to propaganda work, acting as an important bridge, helping to spread messages, raise awareness and promote community participation, contributing to the success of the DCT process.

Clearly identifying the key role of communication work in spreading the spirit and content of the digital transformation task, as soon as the Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU, dated October 15, 2021 on digital transformation to 2025, with a vision to 2030 and implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, the Editorial Board of Nam Dinh Newspaper has closely followed the goals and tasks of the national and provincial digital transformation program to proactively orient propaganda for all reporters in the agency to closely follow the digital transformation task of each industry and field they monitor. Along with that are articles, reports, and special topics reflecting and analyzing in depth the component indicators of the competitiveness index, administrative reform index, digital transformation index, etc. of the province. Timely reflecting the policies, solutions of the Party Committees, authorities, and functional branches at all levels in the province to improve the effectiveness of digital transformation, promote socio-economic development. In particular, many articles in many installments reflect in depth the results of implementing Resolution 09 on digital transformation; Decision No. 06/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 and digital transformation results in all three pillars of digital government, digital economy and digital society. Digital press products such as: E-magazine, infographics... bring readers new experiences in receiving press information in a more vivid and attractive way, suitable for the diverse needs of many readers.
