VietinBank Insurance increased its charter capital to more than 1,000 billion VND

According to Adjustment License No. 21/GPDC35/KDBH issued by the Ministry of Finance on July 30, 2025, VietinBank Insurance (VBI) has been approved by the Ministry of Finance to increase its charter capital to VND 1,013,916,570,000.

VBI is currently one of the 7 leading non-life insurance companies in terms of premium revenue; and is also voted in the Top 3 most prestigious insurers in the market.

Over the past 5 years, VBI has recorded impressive growth rates. The Company's insurance premium revenue increased from VND 2.2 trillion in 2020 to VND 4.4 trillion in 2024; the average growth rate reached 17%/year - higher than the general growth rate of the market. VBI's average pre-tax profit growth in the period 2020 - 2024 also reached over 30%/year. Especially in the years 2023 - 2024, VBI is among the few enterprises maintaining positive growth momentum, in the context of the insurance market facing many challenges.
