These 13 roads, located in the villages of Binh Trang, So Ma Long B, Bon Linh, and So Ma Long A, are currently in a state of severe disrepair, hindering transportation and economic development for the local people. Ia Hiao commune has determined that, during the 2025-2030 term, it will focus on investing in transportation infrastructure to promote economic development and improve the lives of its people.

These projects lacked funding for land acquisition. Recently, local authorities went to the villages to persuade residents to donate land for road construction. Many Party members set a good example by taking the lead, resulting in all 52 affected households along the 13 roads voluntarily agreeing.

According to Mr. Pham Van Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ia Hiao commune, the voluntary land donation by the people has helped to accelerate progress, save budget, and complete rural transportation infrastructure sooner. What is particularly commendable is that the majority of households donating land are ethnic minorities, whose lives are still difficult, yet they are willing to sacrifice personal interests and cooperate with the government in road construction. To date, the commune has secured the necessary land for construction, and 13 road sections will be started between October 16th and 22nd, with completion expected before November 15th, serving the transportation needs of hundreds of households for travel and agricultural product delivery.
