According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting at 7:00 AM this morning, the center of Typhoon No. 2 is located in the northeastern part of the North East Sea, with the strongest winds near the center reaching level 11, gusting to level 13.
Forecasts for the next 24 hours indicate that Typhoon No. 2 will move rapidly in a north-northeast direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h, and its intensity is unlikely to change.
By 7 AM tomorrow, the storm's center will be over the sea off Fujian Province (China), with its intensity maintaining level 11, gusting to level 13.
Over the next 24 to 48 hours, the storm will move in a north-northeast direction at a speed of approximately 15 km/h and gradually weaken.
As of 7:00 AM on July 8th, the storm's center was located over the sea off Zhejiang Province (China), with maximum wind speeds near the center reaching level 10, gusting to level 12.
The storm then changed direction, moving westward into the mainland of Zhejiang province (China) and gradually weakening into a tropical depression and then a low-pressure area.
Due to the influence of typhoon No. 2, the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea is experiencing stormy weather, strong winds of force 7-9, reaching force 10-11 near the center of the typhoon, with gusts up to force 13. Sea waves are 4-6 meters high, and the sea is extremely rough.
Vessels operating in the aforementioned dangerous sea areas are at high risk of being affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, and high waves.
