Preserving Then singing and Tinh lute playing

On September 3, 2022, Vietnam solemnly held a ceremony to receive the certificate of inscription for "Then ritual practices of the Tay, Nung, and Thai people in Vietnam" on the list of Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In Dien Bien , Then is a familiar form of activity of the White Thai ethnic group, carrying spiritual significance, praying for favorable weather, good health, and other positive humanistic values, reflecting the rich spiritual life of the people here.
