VNeID (abbreviation of Vietnam Electronic Identification) is developed by the National Population Data Center (under the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order - C06, Ministry of Public Security ). This is an application on mobile devices.

VNeID is built on a database platform of identification, population and electronic authentication, connecting with state administrative agencies and social organizations.

VNeID is increasingly improving its utilities.

Recently, Department C06 (Ministry of Public Security) has coordinated with relevant units to deploy many new utilities on VNeID to serve people, businesses and society.

VNeID's utilities are being increasingly improved and integrated, helping people not have to travel much to complete administrative procedures, but just need to operate right on their phones.

People no longer have to go through multiple verification steps or meet directly with officials, completely avoiding misunderstandings or unnecessary requests.

To help better understand the benefits and promote effective connections between agencies, businesses and people with VNeID, Tuoi Tre newspaper organized a seminar "To connect VNeID safely and conveniently".

The seminar was held on the morning of April 22 at Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, 11 Xuan Dieu, Tay Ho District, Hanoi.

The discussion content emphasized promoting stakeholders - from government agencies, businesses to end users - to participate in building and effectively exploiting VNeID, ensuring data security and optimizing user experience.

Accordingly, the seminar creates a forum and bridge for management agencies, technology experts, and businesses to discuss how to integrate and apply VNeID safely and conveniently.

The event also aims to clarify how VNeID contributes to building a safe, transparent, data-based and people-centered digital ecosystem.

This is also an opportunity for parties to share experiences and propose solutions to optimize VNeID applications, towards the goal of comprehensive and sustainable digitalization.

Specifically, the seminar focused on discussing the connection of VNeID in essential areas of life such as healthcare,education , e-commerce, electricity and water services, etc.

In the healthcare sector, the panel will discuss how VNeID can deploy electronic health records, purchase medicines online on VNeID, and move towards being able to supplement online prescriptions and effectively manage health care information for the entire population.

For education, how does VNeID support synchronization of student data, serve enrollment and transparent exam management?

For public services, how does the application help people register for electricity and water quotas, make online payments, and save time and money?

In the field of e-commerce, the seminar also clarified the superior features of VNeID, from commercial transactions to multi-service integration in a single platform.

In particular, in developing the digital ecosystem, the seminar also discussed how to exploit the potential of VNeID as a national super application, connecting multiple services on a single platform.
