On the afternoon of July 29, the Editorial Board of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio - Television held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tam, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Can Tho City Party Committee, presented the decision to the comrades in the Editorial Board.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tam presented the decision to the comrades in the Editorial Board.

The conference also presented decisions of the Acting Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio - Television on the establishment of 13 specialized departments and the appointment of 66 department-level leaders and managers of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio - Television.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tam, Standing Committee Member, Head of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Can Tho City Party Committee and Comrade Huynh Hoang Men, Acting Editor-in-Chief presented the decision to the department heads.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Huynh Hoang Men congratulated the cadres appointed to leadership and management positions at the department level; hoping that the cadres would continue to promote their working spirit, make every effort, and support each other to successfully complete the common political tasks.

The establishment of Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television will create great opportunities for journalists to fully develop their capacity in building a modern revolutionary press; building a modern, multimedia newsroom, meeting the requirements in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; meeting the needs of the people; contributing to the successful implementation of the resolution set forth by Can Tho City.
