Storm YINXING continues to move West Northwest, wind gusts above level 17

( Bqp.vn ) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm YINXING is continuing to move in a West-Northwest direction, and is likely to enter the East Sea at 7:00 a.m. on November 8.

At 7:00 a.m. on November 7, the center of the storm was located at approximately 18.5 degrees North latitude, 123.1 degrees East longitude, in the sea northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines). The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 15 (167 - 183 km/h), gusting to level 17; moving west-northwest at 5 - 10 km/h.

Experts said that as of 7:00 a.m. on November 8, the storm was at 18.5 degrees North latitude, 119.6 degrees East longitude, moving west at a speed of about 15 km/h and entering the East Sea. Specifically, the dangerous area is the North East Sea, located from 17 to 21 degrees North latitude, 118 degrees East longitude. The storm's intensity is level 16.

At 7:00 a.m. on November 9, the storm center was at 18.7 degrees North latitude, 115.7 degrees East longitude, moving West Northwest at a speed of 15 - 20 km/hour, the strongest wind near the storm center was level 14, gusting to level 12, 430 km East Northeast of Hoang Sa.

At 7:00 a.m. on November 10, the storm center was at 18.9 degrees North latitude, 113.2 degrees East longitude, moving West Northwest at a speed of about 10 km/h, about 260 km Northeast of Hoang Sa. The dangerous area in the North East Sea, located from 17 to 21 degrees North latitude, 111.5 to 117.5 degrees East longitude, with gusts of wind at level 14.

The eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6 - 7. From the night of November 7, it will increase to level 8 - 10, near the eye of the storm it will be level 11 - 13, gusting to level 16, waves 4 - 6 m high, near the eye of the storm 6 - 8 m; rough seas. Ships operating in the above dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and big waves.
