Starting today, candidates pay 2025 application fees by province or city

From July 29, all candidates registering for university admission in 2025 officially entered the next important stage: paying application fees online on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.

The payment of admission fees is done entirely online, based on the number of wishes that the candidate has registered. Candidates only need to access the only address: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

Instructions for paying application fees online

To pay the fee correctly, candidates need to follow these steps:

Access the System: Log in to https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn using the personal account previously granted.

Select payment function: After logging in, access the "Register for admission information" menu. In the "View list of registered wishes" section, click the "Payment" button. The system will display detailed payment instructions in the Online Payment User Guide document.

Confirm information: Check all personal information and the number of registered wishes. Then, click the "Confirm payment" button to move to the next step.

Select payment method: The system will display popular electronic payment methods such as Momo, VNPT Money, Viettel Money, or other linked electronic payment gateways. Candidates select the appropriate payment channel and confirm the transaction.

The Ministry of Education and Training especially notes that candidates who are eligible for regional and target priority policies must closely coordinate with reception points to review information (if any) to ensure their rights.

Candidates need to proactively study the instruction documents carefully and follow the registration process correctly, completely, and completely. In case of unclear information about the declaration or payment of fees, candidates can immediately contact the staff at the reception points or the admission support staff of the training institutions via the support phone numbers for timely guidance and to avoid errors.

More than 849,000 candidates registered for university and college admission in 2025

According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training, the total number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025 is 1,160,033. Of these, 849,544 candidates have registered for admission to universities and colleges, accounting for 73.23% of the total number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam. This means that 310,489 candidates (accounting for nearly 27%) did not register for admission this time.

Notably, the total number of applications for university and college admission in 2025 reached 7,615,560. On average, each candidate registered 8.96 applications. Compared to last year, the number of candidates applying for admission in 2025 increased by 115,892 candidates. This increase is partly due to more candidates applying for admission to vocational colleges, with 194 vocational colleges participating in the admission system this year.
