Arrest of wanted fraud suspect who brought his lover along

On December 25, Thanh Khe District Police (Da Nang City) extradited Nguyen Minh Son (40 years old, residing in Tam Thuan Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City), a wanted fugitive, from Gia Lai to Da Nang City to continue handling the act of fraud and property appropriation.

Previously, Son was prosecuted by the Thanh Khe District Police Department for fraud. Son fled in October and was wanted nationwide.

Thanh Khe District Police Criminal Police Team coordinated with Dak Djrang Commune Police to arrest Nguyen Minh Son.

The Criminal Police Team of Thanh Khe District Police verified that while hiding from the police, Son took his lover, PTTP (42 years old, residing in Dai Dong Commune, Dai Loc District, Quang Nam) and his stepdaughter to Dak Djrang Commune (Mang Yang District, Gia Lai).

Here, Son used a new name and worked as a hired hand on coffee, passion fruit and other industrial crop farms. Son left his daughter with his girlfriend to take care of in the residential area of ​​E Tu village and then moved into the fields, not having contact with outsiders.

After verifying at Dak Djrang Commune Police, the Criminal Police Team of Thanh Khe District Police came up with a plan to surround and arrest Son. Late at night on December 19, while Son was sleeping in the passion fruit plantation, detectives rushed in to control him.

At first, Son was stubborn, claiming that the police arrested the wrong person because he had been working in the Central Highlands for a long time. However, faced with evidence and the police's struggle, Son admitted to the fraud and then escaped arrest.
