Caught many social evils

On August 4, Chau Thanh Commune Police (An Giang Province) said that through the area's inspection, they caught many subjects red-handed with behaviors related to social evils.

Suspected drug users were invited to the headquarters for questioning.

Specifically, at a motel in Minh Phu quarter, Chau Thanh commune, the commune police caught Duong TB T (born in 1993, residing in Vinh Thanh A hamlet, Binh An commune) and Le KV (born in 1997, residing in Go Dat hamlet, Binh An commune) in the act of illegally storing drugs. Evidence seized at the scene included a transparent plastic bag containing white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine.

Through investigation, the subjects confessed to their violations and confirmed that the white crystals were methamphetamine.

Currently, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency has detained the subjects for investigation and handling according to regulations.

Subjects tested positive for drugs

In addition, Chau Thanh Commune Police invited 9 suspects to work and quickly tested them for drugs. The results showed that 8 of them tested positive for drugs.

Scene of gambling in the form of shaking cotton for money

During the patrol, the police continued to catch 5 subjects red-handed gambling by shaking cotton for money, with evidence confiscated at the gambling table of 1,930,000 VND.

Currently, the cases are being investigated and clarified by Chau Thanh Commune Police, and handled according to the provisions of law.

An Minh Commune Police ( An Giang Province) said they caught 10 people gambling on cockfighting in Can Gao Hamlet. At the scene, police seized 16 million VND and 4 chickens, along with many other related items.
