Previously, parent Ha Kieu Trinh reported the incident after picking up her 4-year-old daughter from school on the afternoon of July 5. When she returned home, the family discovered a large bruise on her back, so they immediately took her to the National Children's Hospital for examination. The doctor concluded that there were many scattered subcutaneous hemorrhages on her upper back. The family then reported it to the leaders of Gia Thuy Kindergarten.
The school board representative and the teacher came to the house to apologize and admitted that they had "hit the child once or twice because he wouldn't sleep." However, the family did not accept this explanation and requested to review the classroom camera.
The extracted images show the girl being dragged, beaten, even thrown against the wall by the teacher, and then dragged into the hallway to continue beating. Another girl lying next to her was also grabbed by the legs by the teacher, dragged back, and thrown onto the bed.
It is worth mentioning that at the time of the incident, another teacher named NTTH was present in the class but did not take any action to stop it, making the family even more angry.
The police are currently investigating the case and have suspended both teachers to serve the investigation.
