On March 26, 2025, the Department of Physical Training and Sports coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province to organize the closing ceremony of the 13th National Tug of War Tournament in Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province.
After 8 days of exciting and dramatic competition, with the spirit of sportsmanship - solidarity - honesty - nobility - progress, the 13th National Tug of War Championship 2025 has ended and was successful beyond expectations.
According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, all competitions took place according to the plan and time, and the results of the tournament accurately reflected the quality and strength of the 19 participating teams.
The Organizing Committee awarded 36 sets of medals, including 18 sets of indoor medals and 18 sets of outdoor medals to the delegations. The first prize for the whole delegation belonged to the Ho Chi Minh City delegation with 8 gold medals. The Dien Bien delegation excellently won 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 6 bronze medals.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in organizing the 13th National Tug of War Championship in 2025.
