On the morning of September 20th, at Phu Tho Vocational College, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the closing ceremony of the 2024 Provincial Self-Made Training Equipment Competition.

Leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs presented the first prize to the winning units.
The competition took place over two days (September 19-20) with the participation of 7 units (including 3 colleges, 2 vocational schools, and 2 vocational training centers) in the province, showcasing 17 self-made training devices from 17 groups of authors, belonging to the fields of technology, engineering, and agriculture and forestry.

The Organizing Committee awarded second prize to the participating units.
According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, this year's competition showcased the creative talent and investment in research by vocational education institutions. The self-made training equipment submitted to the competition was well-prepared, relatively diverse in type, reflected the purpose and requirements of the competition, and truly became a bridge between science and training, meeting the teaching needs in vocational education institutions; many pieces of equipment were highly feasible, could be replicated and applied in practice, helping to increase the efficiency of use as well as the economic efficiency of investment in training equipment...

The Organizing Committee presented flags to the participating units.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 first prizes to individual models on LAN network experimentation and construction, sensor practice and IoT applications (Phu Tho Vocational College), industrial electrical automation control practice table (Phu Tho College of Technology and Agriculture and Forestry), and recirculating hydroponic and aeroponic vegetable growing system (Lam Thao District Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center); 4 second prizes to models from Hermann Gmeiner Viet Tri Vocational College, Phu Tho Vocational College, and Phu Tho College of Industry and Trade; 4 third prizes to models from Phu Tho College of Technology and Agriculture and Forestry, Phu Tho Vocational College, Phu Tho College of Industry and Trade, and Cam Khe District Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center, along with 5 consolation prizes.
In the team category, the first prize was awarded to Phu Tho Vocational College, the second prize to Phu Tho College of Technology and Forestry, the third prize to Phu Tho College of Industry and Trade, and four consolation prizes to the remaining units.
Following the competition, the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel will select the top-ranked self-made training equipment to represent Phu Tho province at the National Self-Made Training Equipment Competition to be held in Hai Phong city in 2025.
