( Bqp.vn ) - On the afternoon of September 13, at the National Training Center 4 (Mieu Mon, Hanoi), the Department of Electronic Warfare (General Staff) held the closing ceremony of the 2024 Competition for Battalion Commanders and Political Commissars of Electronic Warfare Battalions across the entire army. Lieutenant General Nguyen Long Bien, Director of the Department of Electronic Warfare, Head of the Competition Steering Committee attended the closing ceremony.

According to the Organizing Committee's report, after 5 days of the contest, with the spirit of proactive efforts and overcoming difficulties, the 2024 Contest for Battalion Commanders and Political Commissars of Electronic Warfare Battalions across the entire army was a great success, achieving the set goals and requirements. The Organizing Committee and the Subcommittees under the Organizing Committee conducted the contest strictly, scientifically , in accordance with regulations, fairly, objectively, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment. The Jury promoted a sense of responsibility, did a good job of preparation; organized, administered, and graded the contest strictly, seriously, fairly, and in accordance with regulations; summarized, commented, and reported the contest results accurately and promptly.

Along with that, the officials participating in the contest strictly abide by the Army's discipline, the contest regulations, schedule and the regulations of the Organizing Committee; participate in the contest with a high spirit of determination, solidarity, discipline and mutual learning; carry out the contest contents according to plan, ensuring time and safety.

The 2024 Competition for Battalion Commanders and Political Commissars of Electronic Warfare Battalions across the Army includes 6 contents: Combat Staff Work; Party Work, Political Work; Logistics and Technical Work; Command; Physical Strength and Shooting. The competition aims to evaluate and check the actual training results of the units; promptly draw lessons, supplement knowledge, and unify training content and methods. The competition is also an opportunity for Electronic Warfare units across the Army to exchange, learn, and share experiences, creating motivation in competition, training, combat readiness, and building a comprehensively strong "exemplary, typical" unit.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decisions to commend and award the blocks. Military region block: The pair of officers from Battalion 97 (Military Region 3) won the first prize; the pair of officers from Battalion 97 (Military Region 4) and the pair of officers from Battalion 97 (Military Region 5) won the second prize. Corps and service block: The pair of Battalion 36 (Corps 12) won the first prize; the pair of officers from Company 36 (Corps 3) won the second prize. Block directly under the Electronic Warfare Department: The pair of officers from Battalion 4 (Brigade 84) won the first prize; the pair of officers from Battalion 1 (Brigade 87) and the pair of officers from Battalion 1 (Brigade 84) won the second prize. The Organizing Committee also awarded the all-around prize and the single prize in each competition to individuals with outstanding achievements.
