Floating raft opened illegally in Nha Trang fined over 20 million VND

Authorities fined 20.75 million VND for 3 violations at floating rafts in Nha Trang Bay that were accused by customers of "overcharging" by selling boxfish at a single price of 3.5 million VND/kg.

On the afternoon of May 7, a representative of Market Management Team No. 1 (under the Market Management Department of Khanh Hoa province) said that a decision had been made to administratively fine the floating raft in Nha Trang Bay owned by Mr. PVL.

The floating raft was fined by the authorities for 3 violations with a total fine of 20.75 million VND. Of which, the act of "Changing business lines without sending a notice to the district-level business registration agency where the business household has its head office" was fined 7.5 million VND.

The act of "Doing food service business without a certificate of food safety qualified facility" is fined 12.5 million VND; The act of "Not posting the price of goods" is fined 750,000 VND and forced to post the price of goods according to the provisions of law.
