Vinh Phuc General Hospital meets ISO 15189: 2012 standards

This means that the Provincial General Hospital's Laboratory System meets international standards in terms of management capacity, quality and reliability in testing and diagnostic results.

In 2024, the Party Executive Committee and the Hospital Board of Directors unanimously resolved to build a Laboratory Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 15189: 2012 standards to provide high-quality medical services according to international standards for patients, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of patients, their relatives, partners, visitors and medical staff of the hospital.

During the process of building and developing the Laboratory Quality Management System, hospital leaders always closely direct, supervise and operate departments to complete assigned tasks, ensuring that planning goals are fully implemented and on schedule.

The functional departments and especially the testing departments always try to work during the training and practice process to build a Laboratory Quality Management System.

Vinh Phuc General Hospital is the first medical unit in Vinh Phuc province to receive the Certificate of Recognition of Laboratory Quality Management System. At the same time, the Hospital is among the few public medical facilities to be recognized for quality at the same time in the fields of biochemistry, microbiology, hematology and blood transfusion testing.

The above results have greatly contributed to the recognition of Vinh Phuc Provincial General Hospital as a Grade I Hospital according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health .

Vinh Phuc General Hospital is currently operating with a scale of 1,300 planned beds and 1,518 actual beds. Last year, the hospital examined nearly 300,000 people; treated more than 78,000 inpatients. The bed utilization rate reached 110%.
