On November 26th, Nam Can Tho University Hospital (affiliated with Nam Can Tho University) announced that it had achieved AACI international accreditation (USA). Associate Professor, Doctor Dam Van Cuong, Director of Nam Can Tho University Hospital, stated that this is the first general hospital in the Mekong Delta to receive AACI certification.

The University Hospital of Southern Can Tho currently has a capacity of 300 beds, 16 departments, 12 wards, and many specialized centers, meeting the needs of multidisciplinary medical examination and treatment in the Mekong Delta region.
