On March 15, according to news from Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, after two weeks of suspension due to lack of medical supplies and equipment, surgery at the hospital has resumed normal operations.
Patients who had to postpone surgery for two weeks were called back for surgery. Professor, Dr. Tran Binh Giang, Director of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital , shared that after the Government issued Decree No. 07/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles on medical equipment management (Decree 07) and Resolution No. 30/NQ-CP (Resolution 30), continuing to implement solutions to ensure medicine and medical equipment has removed many "bottlenecks", solving problems related to procurement and bidding for equipment of the Hospital.
Immediately after being removed, the Hospital accelerated the bidding process, purchasing medical equipment, supplies, chemicals...
