Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thom, Deputy Head of the Outpatient Department at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, said: "From 2025, the hospital has implemented a policy of extending the examination hours by 60 minutes compared to the administrative regulations, to allow more time for patients and to ensure more patients are examined. Although it is a little more difficult, the medical staff and employees all wholeheartedly support it and consider it their responsibility."

From January 1st, 2026, Thai Nguyen Medical Center was renamed Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, a Grade II medical facility with a planned capacity of 250 beds meeting standards, 16 departments and wards, including 4 functional departments and 12 clinical and paraclinical departments. The hospital has 225 staff members, including over 70 doctors and more than 100 nurses. Since the beginning of the year, Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital has treated nearly 5,000 inpatients. The facilities have been renovated to be spacious and modern, the departments and wards are scientifically arranged, and the hospital fully performs its functions of emergency care, inpatient and outpatient examination and treatment, medical staff training, scientific research, and professional support for grassroots healthcare facilities.

The hospital has gradually developed in terms of its operational model, scale, and professional quality. Recently, the hospital signed a cooperation agreement for professional support with Hanoi Heart Hospital, marking an important step in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and developing advanced techniques.
