Military Hospital 175 organizes medical examination and medicine distribution for poor people in Phu Yen province

This is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of Phu Yen province (April 1, 1975 - April 1, 2015), responding to the series of activities celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024), towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024). At the same time, this is also an event within the framework of the accompanying activities of the 65th National Marathon Championship - 2024 which will take place on March 31 in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province, in which BVQY175 participates as a medical sponsor.

Attending the program were Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duc Thanh - Deputy Director of Military Hospital 175 ; Mr. Dao My - Vice Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee; journalist Vu Tien - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of Tien Phong Marathon 2024 Organizing Committee; Lieutenant Colonel Truong Minh Hong - Deputy Political Commissar of Phu Yen Provincial Military Command; and more than 800 local people.

Speaking at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duc Thanh expressed his joy when BVQY 175 coordinated with Tien Phong newspaper, the Military Social Affairs Command and actively contributed to the sustainable development of the community of BVQY 175 over the past many years.

It is known that the delegation of Military Hospital 175 participating in this program includes leaders, department heads and experts in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology - kidney - joints, respiratory, oncology... Not only is there a team of highly skilled doctors and nurses participating, the delegation also brings along many modern equipment to screen for diseases and provide health care advice to people most effectively.

As one of the first people to join the program, Ms. Pham Thi Chang (69 years old) from Nhon Hoi village - An Hoa Hai commune shared: "I am very happy, thank the program for caring, traveling a long distance to examine, give medicine and give gifts to the people, especially those who are weak. Thanks to the examination and consultation of the doctors, we know more about our health status, understand how to take care of our health every day and feel very encouraged".

This time, the working group examined and provided medicine to more than 800 people and 6 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Hoa Hoi commune (Phu Hoa district) and An Hoa Hai commune (Tuy An district), Phu Yen province. Of which, 600 gifts were given to people in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 300,000 VND.
