Mystery of giant stone sheep head reveals ancient Egyptian ritual

The strange sheep-headed stone statue may be related to the worship of Amun - one of the most powerful gods in ancient Egypt.

While excavating at the Avenue of the Sphinxes (also known as el-Kebash Road), al-Assasif area in the western mainland of Luxor province, Egypt, experts from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities unexpectedly found an ancient, strange artifact.
