According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province, in the first 7 months of 2025, the province welcomed nearly 6 million visitors, including more than 5 million domestic visitors and more than 876 thousand international visitors. From now until the end of the year, Vinh Long aims to welcome more than 4.6 million visitors, with total revenue from tourism activities reaching nearly 3,000 billion VND.

After the merger, the province has more than 130 km of coastline - a new advantage to develop "3 in 1" combined tourism products: River and garden, typical Khmer culture and sea tourism. The province also focuses on developing waterway tourism routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the Mekong Delta provinces, associated with traditional craft villages, historical sites and culinary culture.
