Pilates, aerial yoga, high-intensity dancing, and a salt-free diet help the Black Pink members maintain their slim figures while still being full of energy.
On July 26th, the South Korean girl group Blackpink officially chose Vietnam as their next stop on their tour. The concert will be held on July 29th and 30th. The Born Pink World Tour is the group's second world tour to promote their self-titled Korean studio album.
Before each world tour, Blackpink, like other K-pop idols, must constantly maintain their physique to look good on stage, in front of LED screens, and in the documentary DVDs about the tour that will be released later. Each member of the group has a separate diet and exercise regimen based on their individual physical condition and health.
Jennie practices Pilates and avoids salt.
Jennie possesses a slender figure, with her strengths being her alluring shoulders and small waist. The Chanel brand ambassador shared her fitness tips in Cosmopolitan Korea in 2018, emphasizing the importance of finding habits that work for oneself and losing weight in a healthy way in the long term.
Jennie started practicing aerial yoga and Pilates three years ago and quickly fell in love with the discipline. On her personal page, the singer has posted many pictures of her impressive poses. In January 2020, Jennie revealed that she exercises daily, even during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Besides working out diligently, Jennie also maintains a salt-free diet to avoid bloating. The singer's healthy daily menu includes avocado salad paired with detoxifying fruit juice.
Research from Tulane University in the US shows that eating too much salt can reduce life expectancy by two years in men and 1.5 years in women. Scientists estimate that people who eat a lot of salt have a 28% higher risk of dying before the age of 75 compared to those who do not have this habit.
"Even reducing sodium by just a little, by limiting salt intake each day, yields significant health benefits," said Professor Lu Qi of the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
A diet high in salt can raise blood pressure, increasing the risk of heart attack or stroke.

Rosé eats quality food and trains effectively.
Rosé has long been known as a food lover. However, her passion doesn't stop at food. The owner of the hit song "Gone" especially enjoys exercising. In episode 12 of the show Blackpink House, she shared that part of her routine is doing Pilates twice a day.
This could be the secret to Rosé maintaining her 60cm waistline, a measurement revealed on the King of Mask Singer program in 2017.
Pilates is for everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, body shape, ability, or current fitness level. A session includes exercises on the mat and on specialized equipment.
Studies indicate that Pilates improves quality of life, has a positive impact on people with depression, and can reduce back pain.
The exercises primarily focus on strengthening the core – the body's center, where all movement originates. If strengthened and made more flexible, all the surrounding muscles will support and stabilize the body.
Pilates also helps improve posture, align the entire body, and expand range of motion. This is especially beneficial for idol singers who frequently appear in front of the camera.
Lisa dances to burn calories.
When asked about her method for maintaining a slim figure while sitting on the judging panel of the show " Youth With You,"Lisa frankly replied, "I don't like dieting." The Blackpink dance machine said that her hectic schedule has helped her train to have a toned body naturally.
Lisa said that when she was a trainee, she practiced for about 12 to 15 hours a day. "Usually, we had classes from midnight to 12 noon the next day. I often practiced until 3 or 4 in the morning. It was tough, but worth it," she said.
Looking at her powerful choreography, it's easy to see how many calories her dance moves burn. In an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, she said she loves dance practice with the members and often drinks detox juice with Jennie.
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, dancing helps improve cardiovascular health and aerobic capacity.
"Everyday movements like walking, climbing stairs, and regular exercises like cycling are great. However, they only work the vertical axis of the body. Dancing works every direction, including the oblique and rotational aspects, improving all muscles; no muscle is neglected," says professional dancer Jonathan Tylicki, director of education at the AKT Dancesport Center.

Jisoo eats small portions and practices dancing.
Jisoo 's beauty and feminine figure, particularly her curvaceous hips, are praised by many. Sometimes, she even shows off her toned muscles, leaving fans in awe and envious. However, she is prone to weight gain, so the singer carefully controls her diet and exercises as much as possible.
In the 2017 SBS Power FM radio program Choi Hwa-jung's Power Time , Jisoo revealed that the Blackpink members often share meals and eat small portions. The girls all enjoy eating, but usually don't overeat, sharing dishes like fried chicken to limit their calorie intake.
In an episode of Knowing Bros, Jisoo said she eats ramen before a photoshoot to make her cheeks a little fuller. This is something the other members don't do. However, the oldest member of Blackpink has this habit because she wants to "have cute, round cheeks."
