Central Youth Union Secretary visits and presents gifts to youth volunteers in Thanh Hoa

On July 8, comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association, and members of the working delegation visited and presented gifts to a youth volunteer team that is carrying out activities to support the operation of local government in Bat Mot commune, Thanh Hoa province.

Previously, Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union simultaneously launched 245 youth teams, attracting 2,538 volunteers to participate in volunteer activities in 166 communes.

Youth union members, police, officials and civil servants have implemented activities to guide people in performing administrative procedures, support the installation and use of the VNeID application, and help people access and effectively use online public services.

Visiting and talking with the youth volunteer force supporting the operation of local government in Bat Mot commune, comrade Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the youth union members for actively supporting people, especially the elderly, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities... to access and effectively use online public services.

Many union members went to people's homes to guide them on how to use VNeID electronic identification accounts to access online public services and install citizen digital applications.

The Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union suggested that youth union members participating in the youth volunteer team continue to promote their pioneering spirit and youthful enthusiasm, do many practical things to support people and localities, and contribute to building digital government and digital society from the grassroots level.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Minh Triet presented gifts to the youth volunteer team and donated 2 computers worth 20 million VND to Bat Mot commune.
