According to RT , protesters gathered in the capital Kiev on July 22 to express their opposition to President Zelensky's decision to support a law limiting the independence of anti-corruption agencies.
It is known that Ukrainian President Zelensky has signed into law a bill giving the Prosecutor General's Office the authority to intervene in the activities of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO).

The move comes after security raids on NABU offices and the arrest of a senior official accused of spying for Russia.
Protesters held up signs demanding the independence of the anti-corruption system. The protesters chanted their demands after it emerged that President Zelensky ignored calls to veto the bill.
Similar protests were held in several locations across Ukraine, including Odessa and Dnieper – the country’s third and fourth largest cities. Protests were also held in Lviv, near the border with Poland, and in Sumy, an eastern city near the front line with Russia.
Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, a frequent critic of Mr Zelensky, joined the protest in the capital.
Earlier on Telegram, Mayor Klitschko accused Mr Zelensky's government of "using the conflict as a pretext to dissolve anti-corruption agencies" and push Ukraine towards dictatorship.
In a video address, President Zelensky defended the new law as a necessary step to streamline corruption investigations and eliminate “Russian influence.”
