Cooperate with leading German corporations
The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province said that the project to build a training and human resource development center for renewable energy is expected to be located in Phu My district (Binh Dinh) on an area of 20 hectares, with an investment capital of about 50 million USD.
The Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation in building a Center for training and developing human resources for renewable energy between the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and the leading German group in the field of renewable energy (GEO - Federal Republic of Germany) was signed by the two sides in Quy Nhon City.

According to the signed content, GEO will join forces with O-Door Vietnam to establish a legal entity to invest in a renewable energy human resource training center in Phu My district, with a total capital of about 50 million USD on an area of 20 hectares. This center is expected to meet international standards, training and granting GWO (Global Wind Organization) certificates to thousands of technicians each year in the fields of wind power, solar power, and green hydrogen.
The training program is transferred and assessed by prestigious organizations to help students work immediately at domestic and foreign energy companies, or deploy green technology models locally.
Binh Dinh creates all conditions for the project to be implemented soon.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged that the event not only marked the partnership between Binh Dinh and international investors, but also demonstrated the determination to turn Binh Dinh into a clean energy center, training green human resources leading the region.
The province will create the most favorable conditions for the project to be implemented soon, from completing the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500, adjusting the land use planning, to fully applying investment incentive policies according to current regulations.
“Currently, the legal issues of the project have basically been completed. The province has arranged 20 hectares for the project near the sea and is very beautiful. All 2 hectares are clean land, so after receiving the investment certificate, the company can start construction,” said Chairman Pham Anh Tuan.
GEO Group Chairman Franz Josef Claes expressed his belief in the potential for renewable energy development in Vietnam, especially in Binh Dinh. He also hoped that the Center would not only train human resources for Vietnam but also become a prestigious address for the entire Southeast Asia region. GEO is committed to bringing the most modern technology towards a truly circular recycling and renewable industry.

GEO Group's Asia Regional Marketing and Sales Director Homan Seyedin said: GEO Group is the first German unit to come up with the idea of building wind farms and GEO is also the leading unit in project development, research and development of the most modern turbines in the world . In the coming time, GEO will transfer this modern technology to Vietnam and Binh Dinh will be the direct recipient.
Mr. Homan Seyedin also said that in the coming time, 2 model wind power plants will be deployed in Binh Dinh, one of which will be made using GEO technology, the other by an outside unit so that students can see the difference. In this training center, there will be a training module for offshore students and an indoor simulation area will be built, recreating offshore natural phenomena such as waves, wind, storms, etc. so that students can perform in the best way.
In addition, the project will build a factory to produce accessories (after hydrogen production) from hydrogen products with complete processes to both produce, research and transfer technology to Vietnam.
Currently, GEO has 22 training units in 12 countries around the world, but there is no place where GEO has designed and planned to implement like the system in Binh Dinh.
