(HNM) – In 2023, Binh Duong province simultaneously deploys many key infrastructure projects of provincial and regional scale. The provincial government, localities and related departments, agencies and units are making efforts to speed up site clearance to implement projects on schedule.
As a key project of Binh Duong province, the National Highway 13 upgrade and expansion project is being aggressively implemented by the construction unit. As noted at the construction site, the construction unit is implementing the clearance sections. However, at present, the power line has not been underground, some sections have not been cleared, which has affected the construction process.
According to Binh Duong Department of Transport, the project of upgrading and expanding National Highway 13 is nearly 13km long, raising it from 6 lanes to 8 lanes. Up to now, the section through Thu Dau Mot city, the province has approved the compensation plan for 23 households and 1 organization, with an amount of more than 103 billion VND; in which, has paid compensation for 20 households and 1 organization, with an amount of nearly 99 billion dong. 16 households and 1 organization have handed over the premises, reaching 71% of the plan.
Chairman of Thuan An City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Tam said that the National Highway 13 project, the section through Thuan An city, has 464 households and 52 organizations within the scope of clearance. To date, the compensation and support plan has been approved for 293 households and 24 organizations/1.765,9 billion VND (61%); paid compensation and support for 235 households and 8 organizations/1412,2 billion VND (reaching 77%). In which, 92 households and 15 organizations have handed over the premises, reaching 34% compared to the approved households and organizations.
On the local side, Bau Bang district has a key project that is the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power generation route. The route is 48km long, divided into 4 component projects, with a total investment of nearly 3.800 billion VND. Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee Vo Thanh Giau said that the project has handed over 99% of the progress. In the coming time, the district proposed the Area Construction Investment Project Management Board to actively coordinate with relevant units to speed up the remaining site clearance for the project to complete as planned.
Another typical key project with regional connectivity that is also being implemented by Binh Duong province is the Ring Road 3 in Ho Chi Minh City (Ring Road 3). The Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is proposing to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the People's Committees of Thu Dau Mot, Thuan An and Di An cities to speed up the process of appraisal and approval of compensation, support and resettlement plans, and resolve to disburse capital equivalent to 30% of the site clearance volume before June 30. It is expected that 6% of the entire route will be handed over in June to ensure the start of the project, meet the requirements of completion in 70 and put into operation from 6.
As the locality where the Ring Road 3 project passes, Thu Dau Mot city is expected to complete the disbursement of 6 billion VND in compensation for households this June. Vice Chairman of Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee Vo Chi Thanh informed that the city has 800 affected households with a compensation amount of about 312 billion VND. The city will support people with legal procedures related to land and construction to quickly settle down.
Deputy Director of Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, Vo Ngoc Sang, said that the Ring Road 3 project through Binh Duong is more than 26km long. The project has more than 1.500 affected cases, with the recovered land area of nearly 86ha, of which, nearly 1.000 cases are compensated with the amount of about 13.528 billion VND. Up to now, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee has issued the land unit price for compensation, support and resettlement for the project. On June 2, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board coordinated with the Land Fund Development Center of Thu Dau Mot City to pay support and compensation. The total amount of compensation and support in Thu Dau Mot city is about 6 billion VND.
