Binh Thuan is ready to promote trade in Laos

On the afternoon of June 17, Standing Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang chaired the final working session to unify the necessary tasks of the Binh Thuan Provincial Delegation participating in trade promotion in Laos. Attending the meeting were leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Accordingly, after the meeting, the delegation of Binh Thuan province led by the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang will depart to participate in trade promotion activities in Laos. This is the second time the province has carried out trade promotion activities in foreign markets.

It is expected that from June 18 to 22, 2024, the delegation of Binh Thuan province will work with the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos and leaders of the Vientiane Capital government; work with the Vietnam Trade Office in Laos, the Department of Trade Promotion and Handicrafts - Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos. Along with that, the delegation will visit Lao enterprises and associations, Vietnamese enterprises in Laos; survey at trade centers, supermarkets, wholesale markets in Vientiane Capital and neighboring areas to learn about market prices, needs and consumer tastes of Lao people.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparations for the trip by the relevant units. Based on the detailed report of the Department of Industry and Trade, he requested all members of the Provincial Working Group to closely follow the proposed program plan. At the same time, carefully prepare the necessary documents for the working sessions in Laos.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province stated that members of the provincial delegation need to prepare as best as possible for all work so that Binh Thuan province's trade promotion activities in Laos can take place successfully, creating an impression on the market of the neighboring country.
