An Giang Provincial Military Command awards military ranks to officers

On the morning of May 20, the An Giang Provincial Military Command held a ceremony to award officer ranks and raise salaries for officers and professional soldiers at the level of lieutenant colonel and major in 2025.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Military Region 9 Command, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command presented decisions to promote 20 comrades from major to lieutenant colonel; 7 comrades from captain to major; and 51 comrades to raise their salaries as officers and professional soldiers. Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thuc Linh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, congratulated and commended the achievements and contributions of the comrades who were promoted and had their salaries increased; contributing to building a strong and comprehensive provincial armed force, excellently completing all tasks. At the same time, he requested that the comrades continue to strive, practice, and cultivate revolutionary ethics, study and master professional skills; innovate working style and methods towards closeness, quality and efficiency, regardless of the circumstances, to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks, immediately adapting to the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

Also on this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee authorized grassroots Party committees to organize the awarding of decisions to officers and professional soldiers of the rank of lieutenant.
