On the morning of July 7, the Border Guard Command of Vinh Long province launched a peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); to welcome the 11th National Army Emulation Congress, the 12th Army Party Congress, the 16th Border Guard Party Congress and the emulation movements "Border Guard emulates innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital education for the masses".
Speaking at the emulation launch, Colonel Mai Van Yen - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, emphasized: This is a broad political activity to arouse pride, determination, and innovation in the entire force, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, successfully completing the goals and tasks of 2025. Immediately after the launch, representatives of agencies and units signed the emulation covenant, demonstrating their unity and determination to effectively implement the set contents and targets.
On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command organized the announcement and awarding of decisions on appointing cadres and raising officers' salaries for the second period of 2025. This time, the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded the Ministry of National Defense 's decision on raising salaries for 3 Colonels and 1 Lieutenant Colonel, and the Border Guard Command's decision to appoint 8 comrades to grassroots units under the Provincial Border Guard Command.
